I always knew I wanted a career in travel, and I started working in the travel industry as soon as I left school in 1996. I joined Wotton Travel in 1999, initially working in the leisure travel shop and moving to Business Travel in 2001. I enjoy the fast pace of corporate travel, it’s a really interesting job and every day is different! I have been fortunate to travel to some amazing places through both work trips and my own personal holidays. I can’t name one favourite destination (I have too many, and they are completely contrasting!). The Grand Canyon is awe-inspiring; Switzerland has the most fantastic scenery; the sounds of steel pans in the Caribbean; the sheer size and buzz of Las Vegas; and Herm in the Channel Islands, a little paradise island where there are no cars, limited phone signal and beautiful beaches! Outside work, when not being kept busy by my teenagers, I enjoy walking our dog Woody, catching up with friends, eating out and planning my next holiday!
